UPDATE: Shiloh has been adopted. Marley is available!

SHILOH & MARLEY are 5 month old longhair Chihuahuas who are available for adoption separately. The breeder gave them up due to them being older and less sale-able. Shiloh is the smaller of the two. They are both super well socialized and great with people and other animals. Due to their tiny size they won't be placed in a home with very young children (for their own safety - they are good with kids of all ages). The pups are scheduled to be neutered and should be officially available late September. They will have their first vaccines and be microchipped as well. Currently on flea/tick & heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adding a pint sized pup to your family please fill out an application at since they are in a foster home we will only schedule meet & greets with approved applicants. Adoption fee $300. We also require their new families attend a basic obedience class - a great bonding experience - as we do with all adopted pets 12 months and under.

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
