Meet adorable SuzyQ. SuzyQ is a happy, loving little girl who is looking for a forever home.

SuzyQ was found lost wandering the streets. She had no collar and no microchip. When the attempts to find her family failed, CRT agreed to bring her in to our program to keep her safe and help her find a new home. SuzyQ is so sweet and is grateful to everyone who has helped her along the way. Now she is asking for you to help her find a forever family.

SuzyQ absolutely LOVES her humans. She greets her foster family at the door every time they come home with a wagging tail and a happy smile on her face. It is such an uplifting experience to be greeted by this loving girl every single day! Once you are home, she just wants to be around you. SuzyQ loves to cuddle and to be on your lap. She will roll over for belly rubs and will show her affection right back to you. If you want a cuddle buddy to hang around with and watch TV with, SuzyQ would like to volunteer for the job!

SuzyQ gets along great with the small dogs in her foster home. She really doesn't play with the other dogs, but she fits right in to the pack. She would do well with other dogs, or we think she would be fine as the only dog in her home, as long as you were willing to hang around her and love her. She should also be great with children.

SuzyQ is a quiet, calm, mellow little girl that rarely barks. She is about 4 years old and a perfect 6.5 pounds. She is completely potty trained. We are wondering if she grew up as an apartment dog because she does not seem that interested in exploring outside (and her foster siblings love being outside so they can lay in the sun!). SuzyQ is also crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She would probably love to cuddle in bed with you if you would let her sleep with you!

About Chihuahua Rescue & Transport, Inc. - Dallas Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

CRT does not warehouse dogs in a shelter. As in most rescue groups, our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe, loving foster home environments. CRT foster parents work very hard to be sure that their foster dog feels safe and loved while working on housetraining, crate training, socialization, etc. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and have all other veterinary needs taken care of (such as heartworm treatment, dentals, luxating patellas, etc.) CRT is known, and has always been known, for taking the injured, infirm and elderly Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Please consider the adoption of one of these dogs as well. Seniors and special needs dogs make great pets too!

Come Meet Our Pets...

CRT holds various opportunities to meet the dogs looking for homes in our group. These locations, times, and places are listed on our website:

Our Adoption Process...

CRT accepts applications, checks references and requires a home visit. An adoption donation is requested. CRT does not have a shelter and all dogs are fostered in the private homes of our volunteers. Once an application is submitted the foster of the dog inquired about will contact the potential adopter to answer any questions about the dog.
