Cleo's Story...
Hi, there...
I'm glad you picked me! I think I am the cutest kitten.
Only 20% of orange tabby cats are female so I think I am special and can be a bit of Diva.
I love wand toys and will tumble and roll until exhausted. I like to chase balls with my brother, Timothy. I will admit he is faster than me.
I have a loud purr and am great with nose kisses.

If you would like to meet me, complete the Humane Association of the Lowcountry(HAL) Adoption application located on the HAL web site. The URL is:
http://www.halsc.org
It does not obligate you to adopt me, it just starts the process.

I look forward to meeting you.
Nose Kisses,
Cleo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a Beaufort Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Beaufort, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Beaufort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beaufort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beaufort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beaufort paves the way for another one to be saved.
