Ashton's Story...
We would like you to meet Ashton!
Ashton is a beautiful 4 month old terrier mix. Ashton is the only little girl of her siblings! She is very outgoing and spunky. Ashton is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She will do best in an active home that will like keeping her busy! Ashton loves to swim and would be an excellent hiking buddy. We expect her to be a small/medium dog in the 20-30 pound range. She will need her new family to teach her all about crate training and house breaking as she is currently being fostered with her siblings.
If you would like to welcome this beautiful little girl into your home, please visit www.because4paws.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashton, a New Milford Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
