Mercury's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mercury's Story...
Mercury is a gorgeous and loving teenage cat! She loves to play with her brother, Neptune and would absolutely love to have a home that can also include him although that is not a requirement. Mercury is listed as special needs because she tends to get some digestive issues when there is a change involved. She is on a special digestive food now and it is helping. This is something that the vet hopes she will grow out of as she gets older! Other than that, Mercury is perfect and ready to go! Mercury has been spayed, chipped, dewormed, given up to date vaccines, is fiv/felv negative and has been examined by a vet! Her adoption fee is $25 and she is being fostered in Hazel Green, Al.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mercury, a Knoxville Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
