My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little dog was rescued from a local high kill shelter. She is approx 6 years old and 13 lbs. They said she was a shih tzu mix..not sure if she is, but she is just precious. She is just the sweetest little girl. She was so matted when we rescued her that she had to be totally shaved down by our groomer. She has the prettiest colors in her coat. She has a really sweet disposition, and is very playful and spry. She gets along great with all of the other dogs, loves people and to eat, and seems to be pretty well leash and house trained and loves to ride in the car. Don't miss out on a really nice dog!! She tested positive for heart worms and has been treated with the required set of injections, and she has also been started on a monthly heartworm preventative.

The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
