We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from CCHS, you have to complete an online application at and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.

Leo was found wondering the streets skinny and sad. Since he has been with me he has turned in to such a happy, laid back guy. He is so charming and loves the ladies. Leo is hw negative and on a monthly preventive. He gets along great with my three male dogs, my foster puppy and my aggressive female. Leo is a true alpha and needs a firm handler with positive reinforcement  other wise he will rule the house. He knows basic commands and is crate trained and housetrained. He doesn't realize how big he is so he gets caught every time he tries sneaking into bed.

He has been neutered, up to date on vaccinations, HW tested (negative), current on HW prev and microchipped. All he needs now is a forever home to call his own:)

Age: 1 1/2 years old
Weight: 90lbs

Come Meet Our Pets...

To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
