Ruby is the picture of a dignified lady who's all about peace and serenity.
This unassuming, sweet senior girl is in a foster home, where she demonstrates her kindness to all living things every day. She tolerates and pays little attention to other dogs and cats. Instead, she loves kids and just wants to hang out with her foster kid friends.
Ruby's joints are creaky and uncomfortable, so she's a lazy lady who prefers to chill out and snooze. She will ask her human friends for attention and an ear scratch now and then by quietly approaching and nudging their hands, thumping the furniture with her wagging tail.
A very well-behaved lady, Ruby seems house trained. She learned to use the dog door to go outside after just one demonstration and has used it faithfully ever since.
Ruby will be a good fit for any calm home. She'll require little or no exercise, outdoor space or toys - just space to relax and watch the world go by.
