Can you handle the cuteness? We can't either. This little tyke is Canelo, a sweet tan and white pibble pup born around July '15. His owner couldn't keep him any longer but the stars lined up and we were able to place him into a foster home. Unfortunately that home is no longer available for our gorgeous guy, and he's faced with boarding at an outdoor kennel where he's terrified! We need help!

Canelo is a perfect pit bull puppy in his comfort zone and around his trusted people. He doesn't jump, stays off the furniture, is crate trained, a great passenger in the car, doesn't bark, lays down in the tub so you can bathe him <3, and he enjoys playing with his doggie foster sister. He's a little too focused on the cat, so it's probably easiest if there aren't any in his future home. Sadly, little C is extremely fearful and unable to trust strangers in a strange environment, and his social skills with new dogs need a bit of work too. We'd love to find patient caregivers who might be interested in the help of a professional trainer to give Canelo the security and information he needs to be a confident adult ambassadog.

Canelo is currently just under 50 pounds and still filling in a bit. He's just over a year old, and probably one of the most beautiful pit bulls I've ever laid eyes upon. No doubt whoever adopts him will be turning heads for sure. He's a lowrider with a happy pibble smile =D And his eyes!!! WOW. We want this ambassadog-in-the-making to have a responsible, loving pit bull family. A well matched doggie playmate around his own size would be great but we think he'd also be fine as an only pet. Any kids in the home should be 10 or older.  A yard to get dirty in is preferred, with parents who understand leadership and will ensure that this beautiful boy matures into all of his sparking potential. We're so excited to see the amazing pit bull that he becomes with the right people, changing minds right and left just by being himself!

Get in touch today if you can help keep Canelo from the scary boarding kennel. He's just a puppy. Fostering is temporary and so rewarding! Help Canelo blossom in your care. If you're interested in adoption, please call and let's talk!
