Garfield is a semi feral cat that will make a good barn cat. We will have him neutered and vaccinated on Tues. Sept.20th. Since he has never been socialized it is best to keep him as a barn cat, however if someone had the time, we are sure he can come around. He actually purred at one point for us but is very insecure at this point. We are only asking a donation to our shelter to help cover vet costs. The most important thing is to get him into a secure location where he will be given the care he needs.
Garfield was found as a stray on Skinner Dr. in Strathroy Caradoc and brought to our shelter Sept.14, 2016.
It is now almost a month later. Boy, have things changed! Garfield is neutered, vet checked and thanks to a generous donation is also neutered. Most of all he has turned into a lover boy, loving any attention he can get. One never knows what a little love and T.L.C. will do!
Pleased to say, Garfield is now playing 'Mom' to our kittens. He loves to cuddle with them and clean them. Really great to see how he is now giving back!
