Piper's Story...
Oh hey nice human! My name's Piper. My sister Penelope and I somehow ended up at the county shelter and were only given 15 minutes to make it out :(
We're soooo glad St. Francis came for us! Our foster mom saved us and now we are just the happiest kitties ever! We love humans so much that we start purring as soon as one comes into the room.
My foster mom says I'm beautiful because I have a really cool stripe down the middle of my face.
Do you think I'm beautiful? If you do maybe you can take me home! My sister is really pretty too and since I grew faster I've been helping her learn all sorts of things. I'd love for her to come along.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
