Sheldon's Story...
My Name is Sheldon and I maybe deaf but what I lack in hearing I make up in being quick. I was living outside under the very watchful eye of my feral mother and an older lady who could not take me inside. She contacted St. Francis and my mother has been spayed and I am now in a foster home looking for my permanent home. I love to cuddle and I like to go to sleep in my foster arms. That is after I have gotten tired out from playing. My foster dad says he loves my meow. He must, because he often comes check on me when I use my come to me routine. I have beautiful long white hair and two blue eyes. Foster dad calls me his little white tiger. I am deaf and FELV positive so I need to be in an only kitty household or with other felv kitties

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheldon, a Tampa Turkish Angora cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Angora for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Turkish Angora cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Angora breeders who help with Turkish Angora rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
