Ybor's Info...

Ybor's Story...
I was born behind a gas station behind Hillsborough Ave which is not known to be highway friendly. My Brother Brandon and I were picked up by St. Francis and we communicated to our rescuers that we did not want to live outside in this dangerous neighborhood. Therefore we immediately gave them our best purring and cat calling and they understood that we would like to live in a forever home. I get along very well with my brother Brandon so if you don't have any cats now adopting both of us would be our ideal dream. You will be able to tell us a part because I am a little bigger and I have a Y sign on my side.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ybor, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
