Eric's Story...
Eric - 5 year old male Miniature Schnauzer/ShihTzu mix. Eric was rescued from a LA area shelter where he can in a stray. He was so matted his fur was in dread locks and he looks like he lost 5 pounds after he was shaven down. We had a dental done on him when we neutered him so his teeth are nice a white now. We don't really know what mix he is schnauzer plus something very small that also has a longer body. Our best guess is schnauzer/shihtuz and we can say he is definately a nonshedder. Eric is a quiet little fellow that gets along well with other dogs. Eric is a tiny boy at about 10 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eric, a Redondo Beach Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
