Poor GIZMO has had a rough couple of years. His elderly owner had a stroke and he was given away to someone who in turn gave him to someone who turned him over to us. His past medical records show that he is 11 years old and that he has a thyroid condition that has gone untreated. We are re-running the bloodwork to recheck his levels and get him on the appropriate medications. Gizmo also appears to have dry eye (common with the breed) and may need daily drops of artificial tears in his eyes. Gizmo absolutely LOVES everyone and everything! A great walker on leash and a favorite of our young volunteers. Great with cats and dogs too! Gizmo is scheduled to be neutered at the end of September and will be officially available for adoption by early October 2016. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you can give Gizmo a stable and living fur-ever home. Adoption fee of $100. Gizmo will also be microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested prior to adoption.
