Peaches is an adorable calico who is both affectionate and independent. She loves to be petted and have her head scratched -- if you stop, she will ask you for more with a cute pat of her paw. She loves to sleep curled up near you, but she also appreciates her alone time in a comfy hiding spot. Then she will emerge, ready for attention and she will come find you to say hi! She is starting to enjoy playing with her cat toys and has recently discovered the pleasures of batting around her mouse toys, tinfoil ball and her fish-on-a-wand toy. Born around 9/15/13, Peaches needs medications for a congenital heart condition, but she is very good about taking her pills in a soft treat and does not have any symptoms. She would enjoy a home with a person who has some cat experience or a family with older children and no other cats. Peaches hopes to find a forever home where she feels safe enough to keep developing her playing and cuddling skills; there’s a true lap cat in her, just waiting for the right person!
