My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Olive is around 30lbs and is approximately 3-4 years old. She was pulled from a kill shelter in West Tennessee along with her friend, Denver. They both beat euthanasia by a couple of hours. They were riddled with sarcoptic mange and heartworms, but they have successfully beat them both!

Both are house, leash, crate trained. They also know "sit, stay, go in crate, and lay down". They are wonderful with cats, kids, guinea pigs, and other dogs, both big & small. Both of these babies have the most expressive honey colored eyes. Both of them are always smiling! Both have easy going loving and sweet temperaments with an inner puppy that is always ready to come put and play when you are. Both take treats with soft mouths and patience! They have been very well loved and have have thrived in their foster home!!

Olive is a gentle soul with a shining heart. I've never ever seen her loose her patience even when she had a rambunctious beagle puppy nipping and chasing her heals. She was so tolerant and just played along with him. She loves baths and her favorite part is being blow dried!! She is a true companion at heart, would be great in any home with a family who would return her love and loyalty that she is so ready to give.

If you are interested in adding Olive to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. She is being fostered in Tennessee in a home with other dogs, cats, and young children. She will be transported up north once their adoptions are finalized.
