Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Denver is around 30lbs and is approximately 3-4 years old. He was pulled from a kill shelter in West Tennessee along with his friend, Olive. They both beat euthanasia by a couple of hours. They were riddled with sarcoptic mange and heartworms, but they have successfully beat them both!
Both are house, leash, crate trained. They also know "sit, stay, go in crate, and lay down". They are wonderful with cats, kids, guinea pigs, and other dogs, both big & small. Both of these babies have the most expressive honey colored eyes. Both of them are always smiling! Both have easy going loving and sweet temperaments with an inner puppy that is always ready to come put and play when you are. Both take treats with soft mouths and patience! They have been very well loved and have have thrived in their foster home!!
Denver is very submissive and calm. He will crawl into your lap the moment it's unoccupied because he is every bit a lap dog and will stay as long as you let him be there. He really doesn't want anything in the world other then to just be with you and be loved by whoever is around! This is a boy who seeks approval and is very smart.... it doesn't take long for him to learn a new trick or phrase! He is a people pleaser and a absolute love bug!
If you are interested in adding Denver to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. He is being fostered in Tennessee in a home with other dogs, cats, and young children. He will be transported up north once his adoption is finalized.
