Minnie's Story...
MINNIE

Miss Minnie is about one year old, 12 pound Shepug. Whaaaaat?! We think she is a shepherd/pug mix, and she has an adorable underbite. Minnie is bright, energetic, talkative, and affectionate. She loves to give kisses. She is crate trained and housebroken with a dog door. Minnie has not been tested with kids or cats, but she is great with other dogs. With obedience training, Minnie would love to go out into the world and try new things with you.If you would like to make Minnie part of your family, please complete an online application at www.lapdogrescue.org and be sure to include her name at the top.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Tijeras Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Pug for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Pug dog from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Pug breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
