Oh little Henry. So much to say about this sweet little man.
Henry did not have an easy start. He was hit by a car and dragged for a bit so he came to us with a severely fractured pelvis and third degree burns. He was a in a lot of pain and not the nicest man about expressing his feelings. We quickly discovered he likes fruit smoothies and once we could get the pain meds in to him via fruit smoothies, he quickly began to turn around.
Once he was feeling better, Henry began to solicit attention, begged to be held, and also began to sleep in bed! Henry is a talkative sort. He will quickly let you know when he wants to be held, wants to be fed, and generally wants attention. He is good with other dogs but will let them know when they are in his space. He is good with small kittens and has been good with kids. He takes a moment to warm up to new people but with some hot dogs or yummy treats can be tempted in to love easily! Henry is housebroken, uses a doggy door, walks well on a leash, and sleeps through the night in bed. He is not even a snorer!
