Dunkin had a past that would make most of us shutter. He appears to have spent the majority of his life at the end of a chain, he has the scars to prove it. Dunkin is a very playful dog and has plenty of energy. He has a lot of love to give yet has a stingy side and wants all your love to himself. Dunkin appears to be housetrained and walks great on a leash.
We are a very small dog only shelter in rural middle TN. We will accept owner surrenders as space allows however, you will be required to pay a $50.00 fee. Our primary focus is the intake of stray dogs and we try to reunite them with their family. On the occasions that their family can’t be found, or if the family is not interested in reclaiming their pet, we do all we can to find adoptive homes for them or place them with approved rescues.
As with all rural shelters in economically depressed areas, our adoption numbers aren’t very high so we strive to work with as many rescues as we can and we are always looking for more wonderful volunteers to help out the fur kids!
