Dyson's Story...
My name is Dyson and I'm pleased to meet you. I'm a 2 year old red lab mix and I weigh about 55 pounds. I'm a timid guy who would benefit from having another four-legged buddy in my forever home to show me the ropes. I'm as sweet as can be but still learning that it's ok to be me! It takes a little while for me to come out of my shell and it's important that my forever family understands that. I really like to be outside. I like going on walks and I love to run around in the yard so I'd love it if you have a fenced in area for me. I also like to play with toys. When I'm tired, I like to snuggle with my people. Since I'm shy, a house with older kids would be best. Like I said, I'd love another dog or two in the house. I haven't met cats before by my foster family thinks it would be ok. I know a few commands, walk nicely on my leash, am house trained, and am crate trained. I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dyson, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
