BoBo sure ain’t clownin’ around! He may wear a honking big smile, but he is serious when it comes to learning his canine competencies. He already knows some commands and is doing well walking on a lead. BoBo is a male Akita mix who weighs about 45 pounds and is 2 years old. He is one graciously good boy, but can be selective about his friends. BoBo was brought in with his smaller friend after they lost their owner. He would be happiest in a no kid household with perhaps a smaller dog, but would likely prefer to be the only fur baby in your heart. BoBo seems to really lap up love and affection, but sometimes can be a little timid. He is searching for his forever someone to call his own. Won’t you spend some time stylin’ and profilin’ with our cool dude BoBo!

About White County Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We are a very small dog only shelter in rural middle TN. We will accept owner surrenders as space allows however, you will be required to pay a $50.00 fee. Our primary focus is the intake of stray dogs and we try to reunite them with their family. On the occasions that their family can’t be found, or if the family is not interested in reclaiming their pet, we do all we can to find adoptive homes for them or place them with approved rescues.

As with all rural shelters in economically depressed areas, our adoption numbers aren’t very high so we strive to work with as many rescues as we can and we are always looking for more wonderful volunteers to help out the fur kids!
