Cody is a striking boy with all the charms and wileyness of his breeds. He is a combination of two very smart and opinionated breeds with some guarding tendencies, so he learns fast but most definitely needs taught by a good leader who won't slack off. He is ready to learn if you are willing to teach. He shows interest in toys and is full of potential in the right home. He is taller than most young children, so probably best in a home with older kids or adults only. He shows desire to chase cats in motion. He can be around other dogs, but will not back down from a challenge and will guard his food. He responds well to correction and can be worked with in a dog-experienced home.
Cody is heartworm positive. Please contact the shelter and your vet about treatment options. He is worth it!
