Hello, I am very glad you have decided to find out more about me!

My name is Etta, I am named for the famous singer Etta James. Her songs were playing in the background when I was born. I am a beautiful Tortishell with 1 soft peach glove and sock and lovely peachy secret tummy colors(that only my friends get to pet) and a hint of a monocle about my eye, I have a dab of color on my chin too! My foster mom says I am a work of art.

I am looking for a home where I will be loved and cherished, where I will be an important part of your family and you will care for and respect me. In return I offer unconditional love, hours of entertainment, comfort when you are sad, companionship and the pleasure of living with a breathing work of art!. I want a Home with a person who loves me and a lap that I can curl up in when I am tired. I would share my lap with a friend, or one of my foster brothers or sisters, I’m not selfish!

I like chasing anything that moves, or that I can make move, I have soft fur and an excellent purr! I have been instructed in the arts of hunting prey, and am sure I could catch a mouse if I even saw a real one, I did almost catch a moth once but my Mom snatched it first ,(not fair she has longer legs. ) We have a video we get to watch sometimes that has birds and mice, and hamsters and butterflies and lots of other things that I have been studying , they aren’t behind the box and I can’t get in the box but someday they might come out so I am ready!

I have been raised in a home environment with other cats and a big chocolate lab. I have met some older children and we had a great time playing with toys! I don’t know about young children but If they play gently and have learned how to treat pets with care and respect I think I would like them very much. I get to go everywhere in my foster home and have tall cat trees to climb, ping pong balls in the bathtub, and sometimes I am the winner in tunnel pounce or find the monster in the box. (The grown up cats like to be the monster). I came from a big family. 4 sisters and 3 brothers, and my mom and I live with some other foster kittens now so I am accustomed to being sociable.

My mom Bailee was found outside and brought to a very full Animal Control shelter. There she was placed in room full of barking dogs due to overcrowding. She was terrified and she was scheduled to be euthanized the day after her stray hold ended, but the people at StrayHavenRescue were watching and were there to take her to a foster home the minute she was released from stray hold. Less than 24 hours after arriving at our foster home and getting her own bedroom with soft lights and soothing music she produced 8 wonderful kittens! US! (She is retired from motherhood now that we are grown up and also looking for a forever home, you can find her if you look under her name. She is a beautiful orange tabby.)

I would like to meet you to see if you are THE ONE! My mom said I need to find THE ONE!
