Fineena's Story...
Fineena was picked up on a busy highway and brought to the shelter on March 6, 2016. She has quickly become a favorite. . She stayed in the office for a while and was fantastic with all new visitors and dogs. She keeps her crate clean and knows exactly where to go in the evening when we bring her in. She is great on and off leash, very calm, house trained, and would make a great family pet or a companion for a single person as she just wants to be with someone. Fineena is being treated for heartworms and doing great! Estimated Date of Birth 03/06/2015

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fineena, a Hooksett Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Boxer for sale in Hooksett, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Boxer dog from a breeder in Hooksett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hooksett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hooksett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Boxer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hooksett paves the way for another one to be saved.
