I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
This little girl is a Jack Russell mix, 2 years young, around 33 lbs, spayed, current on vaccines, flea free, heartworm negative, and house trained and crate trained. She is very attentive to her human companion especially when treats are a part of her training. She is high energy, because she is still a PUPPY and the breed so playtime and exercise are important and crucial on a daily basis. She is good with other dogs, curious with cats, and good with all family members (adults and children). This little girl came to us with a "big brother" (Blue) so it would be helpful if she had a 4- legged furry role model in her life to help her get adjusted to the routine of her new life, and furry companion would be of great security(comfort) to her and a playmate too ! Honeybee is learning to walk (without pulling) on leash; and is currently in basic obedience training doing VERY WELL. She is READY for adoption to a companion that is willing to help remind her about good behavior and walking on leash. Beware... Honeybee is very much attracted to and finds great comfort in the lap of her trusted companions ;-) Fenced yard is always preferred for qualified applicants and adoption radius is typically 150 miles from Miami County, OH
DREAM is a network (no facility) of VOLUNTEERS with efforts focused on Rescue, Rehabilitation and RE-homing of companion dogs that are neglected, abandoned and sometimes living in county shelters. Our goals: offer resources to REDUCE the overpopulation of cats and dogs - thus reducing euthanizing, PROVIDE educational resources to assist with "responsible pet ownership" and RAISE FUNDS to help with necessary vetting for the pets we rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.
Our adoptions are never finalized until we are 100% assured there is a perfect match for both the applicant and the dog being adopted. Sending us the adoption application is the first step. You will find the application online (on the Adopt Me page at Dream4pets.org). A home visit and reference checks are also made prior to any adoption. Our adoption process typically takes 2 - 4 weeks after the application has been received..
