Marie (Duchess' Kitten)'s Story...
Marie (Duchess' Kitten)'s Story...
"Marie" is an adorable female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on July 8, 2016 along with her mother (Duchess) and her three brothers (Berlioz, O'Malley, and Toulouse). The kittens were tiny 5-week old babies at that time and were very dependent upon their mother. Thanks to one of our fantastic foster mothers, Duchess and her family have been enjoying a temporary foster home since August 3rd, and the kittens have grown into fine young boys and girls. "Marie" has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful kitten face. She is a playful little girl who loves to romp/play with her brothers. "Marie" also enjoys spending time with the foster family's large dog and dearly loves him :) "Marie" was given vaccinations and wormer on August 19, 2016. She was spayed on September 7, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 4.6 lbs. on that date. "Marie" and the rest of her family are ready to find permanent homes of their very own. Please call the HSOV at 740.373.5959 or send an email to email@example.com if you would like to meet Marie and/or her mother (Duchess) or her brothers (Berlioz, O'Malley, and Toulouse). Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.
We are a non-profit shelter giving refuge to homeless and abandoned animals in Washington County Ohio. We strive to make their time here as comfortable as possible. We work very hard with our rescue groups to move our animals quickly and safely. We do this because we work for those who have no voice.
Rescue groups are encouraged to contact our Canine Rescue Coordinator (email@example.com) or Feline Rescue Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org)
