Chewbaca & Kato's Story...
Chewbaca (Chewy) and Kato are two gorgeous Mini Lamancha brothers who were bottle raised by a family who had homestead intentions but hadn't thought through what to do with the baby boys who were born. The kept Chewy and Kato, bottle raised them but never neutered them and then 1.5 years later, found themselves with two very sweet but hormonal goats. They were surrendered to us and we had them neutered. They are incredibly gentle and sweet and very laid back guys. They are twins and must be adopted together. For more information on Chewy and Kato, please contact us and we will send you additional information and our adoption requirements

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewbaca & Kato, a Maple Valley Goat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Goat for sale in Maple Valley, or seeking a Goat from a breeder in Maple Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Goat breeders who help with Goat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
