ADOPTER RETURNED 9/18
A volunteer writes: Dexter is a little shy and timid, but a whole lotta sweet!! She was found abandoned in a building (how could you walk away from that face?!) so we don’t know much about her history. She has been very easy to handle on leash, seems to have housetraining and is very quiet in her cage. After spending some time with her she’s warmed up to take treats gently from my hand, lean against my legs when I pet her, and prop her paws up on her cage door after I put her in. She perks up whenever we see a dog outside — whining and even pawing at the fence in hopes that she can go outside and say “hello”! She seems like a very gentle, sweet, sensitive girl! I’m sure she has a playful, wiggly side waiting to emerge…maybe you could be the one to see it! Please come see her at Brooklyn ACC.
