Meet the fabulous and fun-loving Freddie Freckles! This boy will make you smile the minute you lay eyes on him. At just 45 pounds and about 10-12 months old, we think this freckled phenomenon with the best ears ever, is perhaps a Hound/Pointer mix. Sweet Freckles was found on a family’s porch in a rural area, wounded and hungry. A phone call was made to his now foster mom Patty, and he was quickly scooped up and taken to a safe and loving place. He had some nasty puncture wounds that are now healing nicely and he has just been neutered. He is ready Freddie Freckles to always play and take on the next fun adventure with a human or another dog. Great with all dogs he meets, and he is curious but good with cats too…what a PLUS! One of his favorites in life is to play with plush animals and chew bones. And common to the Pointer breed, he loves to run, run, run. We have put him through Dog Manners 101 at the foster home and he is learning leash manners and rides very well in the car. All Freckles wants in life is to be with a loving person or family who will promise him a lifetime of good care and is receptive to all the wonderful love he has to give. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.
