Mina is a 6 year old tuxedo kitten at heart. She is very social, playful, funny and chatty girl. She is known as “couch cat” in the house because it’s her favorite place to hang out. Mina greets her foster at the door every afternoon when she comes home from work. She also likes to “help” supervise her dinner preparations and will often chat away while waiting (rather impatiently!) Mina is declawed and is not tolerant of other cats or dogs.
Mina was in a shelter from April-June before coming in with another rescue. She went to a store and could not tolerate the cage, so she has been fostered since early June. Mina has been working with her foster mom on good manners and accepting affection. Her previous owner was ill, so it is likely that she did not receive much attention. Mina has learned to be picked up and hugged. She will often give head butts and kisses to her foster. She also now shows affection by rubbing up on her foster mom’s legs and playing sneak attack from the top of the refrigerator.
Mina is looking for a quiet home without young children. She does take some time to adjust to new people, so she needs her new human to be patient. Once she is comfortable, she will be your best friend for life!
