Important Note

Dalton is best friends with Abbey. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Adoption Donation: $100.00
Age: approximately 4 years old (2016)
Weight: approximately 18 lbs

We adopt to the following counties: Citrus, Sumter, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough.

Dalton is a standard pom. His stature is larger than most poms. Also called a throw back pom.
When he entered the rescue, he was 18 lbs. We have placed him on a diet to lose a few pounds; enough to get him to 16 lbs.

Dalton is neutered and house-trained. He is very protective of his person. He gets along with other dogs but will need a strong pack leader to reprimand him when necessary. We don't recommend a house with small children or cats. Dalton needs some training in commands. He is still young enought where he could learn quickly. Dalton is in a foster home where the average age is 13 years old; his activity level is quite high for this home. Dalton likes to chew things so chew bones are recommended, not toys.

About Pom Mom Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a rescue and sanctuary for pomeranians. The sanctuary consists of senior poms that were overlooked by new owners at the local shelters. These seniors are given love and a comfortable place to live out their golden years. Sometimes, we are able to rescue younger dogs either from the shelter or surrenders. We get their shots up to date, spay/neuter and make them healthy. Only then, are they placed up for adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application to be completed. The application is reviewed. If you are perfect for the pom, we will call to schedule a meet and greet at your home. If the outcome is favorable, the next time you see the pom, it will be yours!
