keely's Story...
Hi my name is Keely, I am currently enrolled in the puppies for parole program. I am a sweet girl but I am very shy with new people and things. I get along with all the other dogs great. I love to run and play with them when we are outside but, when I come inside, I know it is time to settle down. I have learned how to sit, stay, speak and fetch. I will also go into my kennel when I am told. Once I trust you and love you I am a very, very loyal dog who listens well for instructions from my person. My favorite thing ever is a ball--it is the way to get me to do whatever you want me to do. Unfortunately, I am a runner so I can NEVER be outside without a leash or a fence.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog or if you have any questions please feel free to contact our volunteer Kathy Zipp at or contact her at 816-752-2295. We will try to respond back as quickly as we can but all of our staff or volunteers also work. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

keely, a Cameron Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Cameron, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cameron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cameron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cameron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cameron paves the way for another one to be saved.
