Rowdy Rasnake's Story...
Thank you Dr Rasnake!
This dog was saved as part of the RASNAKE transport! We had the pleasure of a visit from Stephanie Smith-Justus, ; and Sarah Rasnake, a brilliant young college student whose mother, Dr. Catherine Rasnake, happens to be the compassionate veterinarian who goes above and beyond to provide preliminary care for the dogs we save from their local kill shelter. Yes, these are three very special ladies! We were all especially thrilled when Dr. Rasnake gave Sarah permission to ride along giving Stephanie a co-pilot for the trip, so we decided to give their six passengers the last name RASNAKE.
Rowdy was born about October 26, 2015 and may top out in the 40 lb. range. He is your typical, happy, bouncy, little guy that loves all of us and is wonderful with other dogs. He is of higher energy and will benefit from having another fun dog to play with and we've realized he would do well with a fun boy of his very own! Rowdy does show a bit too much interest in cats to live with any. Please understand that we have no prior knowledge of this dog and we will be learning as we go and so will you.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $225.00
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
