Hi, I’m Cesar! I am quite the cutie! I have a big head that I love to lay in your lap, large expressive ears and I have the most gentle, kind eyes that look right at you. I also have very adorable freckles on my nose. Even though I am still a young pup I have a little bit of an old soul and most of the time I just want to be near my people relaxing.
If you are looking for a crate-trained pup, I’m your boy! I sleep in my crate while my foster family is at work and I haven’t had any issues. Even better, I am potty trained and know that potty outside is the right thing to do! I am still a puppy so I’m working on mastering lots of tricks like sit, stay, lay, and leash manners. That last one is hard when I see other dogs on walks. I just want to meet them so bad that I can forget that pulling is bad. My foster parents say I would do really well in obedience training! That sounds like tons of fun, especially when I think of all the treats I could get during training!
I have met a few kids (ages 4, 7, and 9) and I LOVE THEM! I was very calm and gentle and I let them pet me and give me tons of love. I am a strong boy and sometimes I’m a bit clumsy so I would have to be careful not to accidentally knock over any toddler-sized kids. I currently live with a 60lb doggy foster brother and he is my bff. I give him his space but if he wants to play or snuggle I am ready! I like playing tug, cuddling and wrestling if I am with other dogs, but I can be calm around them if they aren’t up for play/cuddles.
When I think of my dream forever family, I don’t think the number or type of family members is as important as a family who will spend lot of time with me. I really enjoy being in someone’s company. I also promise to rid my forever family’s yard of squirrels as quickly as possible!!!
