Kiwi--pending's Story...
This petite 1 year old Doberman is Kiwi. She came to us from a breeder gone bad but you would never know it from her happy demeanor. Kiwi LOVES everyone she meets, so much so that she insists they need a kiss. Gets along great with all the dogs in her foster home and has even found a new best friend. The two girls have a grand time running around outside and even tearing through the house when foster Mom allows them!
She lives with many cats and is fine with them but when she doesn't have her dobie friend to play with she thinks it may be fun to chase the cats a little bit, but they have all told Kiwi she isn't allowed to do that so she listens.

Kiwi is crate trained and house broke and does not try to tear up anything in the house. She is a bit curious, or nosy some may say, so she does try to check out anything new that she discovers. If Kiwi were taller she would try to do some counter surfing! A very food motivated girl but that probably stems from the poor conditions she was living in prior to coming to our rescue.

Kiwi's foster Mom says she is a delight to have around and any family will be lucky to have this girl in their life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiwi--pending, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
