Forget diamonds being a girl's best friend! Roscoe is the most loyal, awesome-pawsome purrfect pal a gal can ask for! This gingerbread man has made a great recovery from a nasty bout from a shelter URI and LOVES to keep his foster mom company and follow her around the house. Roscoe was a stray surrender at the city shelter and earned a great average rating which means he is kind and friendly. His foster mom says that Roscoe gets a little worked up sometimes--meaning he has sudden bursts of energy where he will race around the house and become very vocal. We think Roscoe would do best in a female only residence and in a household with only one or two other non-dominant cats around as this handsome dude is very confident and likes everyone to know he's the boss. Roscoe could also be your one and only feline friend, too. Due to his "leadership skills," we think Roscoe would do best with an experienced cat owner. But this is a great kitty dude who will be a great companion to a lucky new purrson. Could Roscoe's special someone be YOU? Let us know if you'd like to meet this eligible bachelor. Roscoe was born around 7/28/13.

About Anjellicle Cats Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer,
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a member
of the Mayor's Alliance and a New Hope Partner with
the New York Animal Care & Control (ACC). For over ten years, this Hell's Kitchen shelter has been a lifeline
for abandoned, stray, and neglected cats and kittens.
In addition, we work closely with the ACC to pull out
those who are in danger of being euthanized due to
overcrowding. Each one is welcomed with kindness and medical attention, with the goal of placement into a permanent, loving home.

Well-known within the Broadway community, we have been featured on Fox 5 Morning Show, New York 1 Television and in Time Out magazine. We always enjoy meeting new volunteers and people who share our mission -- to compassionately rescue, care for and place New York City's homeless cats and kittens.

Come in today to see our "cat room" and maybe you'll
find a new friend -- one of our truly "Anjellicle

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, you only need to call or email Anjellicle Cats Rescue and arrange to meet a representative at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St.. Adoptions are done by appointment although there is usually someone on site every evening from 6 - 8pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Once you've filled out an application, someone will go through an adoption package with you with updated information on cat care. We require a donation of $125 for one cat or $225 for two. The kitten or cat will then be personally delivered to their new home.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated with FVRCP (3 in 1) and spayed or neutered. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat in their new household.
