ADOPTION PENDING!
Duchess is a Foxhound with maybe some Pointer. She is about one year old and weighs 34 lbs.
Duchess is a sweetie pie who loves all people, children and animals! She does not currently live with a cat but she has not shown much reaction to ones she has seen. She just wants to run, play and get to know you! Duchess is also extremely smart. She came to us as a shelter stray and was not potty trained but only took us a few days until she got the hang of it. She gets super excited for feeding time and is extremely treat motivated and loves to "sit" and "stay" for you! She is also crate trained and enjoys her crate as that's where we feed her and give her treats. She is doing really good in our home so we have her only stay in her crate while we are at work and at night she loves to cuddle in a little ball and snuggle up with her babies (toys) at the end of the bed. She is still considered a puppy and has lots of energy and we are currently working on chew habits and teaching her what is ok to chew on and what is not. Her name fits her perfectly as she loves to show off her pink rhinestone collar and harness when she runs up to you to be petted! Duchess will make a wonderful family pet and would enjoy another dog to play with and a nice fenced in yard. She would also be fine as an only dog but she sure does like other dogs.
