Duncan is a 3 year old, 5lb (but slightly underweight) super adorable and unique colored Chiweenie!
Duncan is a sweet, very shy, little guy rescued from a hoarding situation. He will need extra time to warm up and is more comfortable coming to see a person on his terms -than with being pursued. He takes food gently from human hands and is a sweetheart once he realizes you are his friend. He likes to hide under the bed to sleep on a pillow- but comes out to lie in a dog bed or even lie on the couch. He might enjoy a pup-tent! He is very quiet indoors and doesn't bark.
Duncan is very dog friendly but appears to love small dogs the most. He's a bit scared of any dogs larger than a chihuahua. He is pad trained and is too scared to try going outside right now. It would be a good idea for his adopter to frequently carry him to a quiet spot outdoors and give him treats to help him get used to being outside.
Duncan has a sweet, gentle, playful, and of course, shy personality. He's very special little guy looking for a special adopter!
Duncan is vaccinated, HW neg, and will be chipped and neutered in early October.
