Gizmo's Story...
Hi my name is Gizmo! I am an approximate 10-year-old senior chi who loves to snuggle! I was found abandoned near a grocery store and these nice people brought me to a pet clinic where I met my foster mom. I have been working on my weight during small walks and I currently am receiving medication because I have hypothyroidism. However, that doesn’t affect my ability to love! My favorite thing to do is curl up in my bed and sunbathe. I am shy at first but I promise to be your best pal! I am a quiet, little guy who would probably do best on my own or with a calm older guy like me. I like to watch TV with my foster mom and give her kisses on her hand as she pets me. If you’re looking for a nice, calm senior doggie please adopt me! Let’s live out our golden years together! Please email Karina ( for information on how to adopt Gizmo or visit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
