Goliath's Story...
Approx. birthdate: September 2015. Meet Goliath! Goliath was found running stray. He is a big, strong boy with a heart of gold! He loves people and loves playing keep away and tug-of-war. Goliath is an active young dog with a lot of energy to burn. He is awesome with other dogs--he wants to be friends and play with them. Goliath loves attention and is learning very quickly not to jump on people when playing. But he still needs leash training. He weighs 72 lbs. and is fully grown, though he may fill out a little more. Goliath is going to make a great companion for the right people who will provide him with attention and exercise. Note: Goliath has been neutered, but this picture was taken before the surgery.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goliath, a Sterling Heights Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
