  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male

Crockett was originally adopted from a Shelter but then turned in to us as he is a bit food aggressive and very quirky.  When he first arrived he was hard to handle, but now that he’s comfortable he’s a sweetheart–MOST OF THE TIME!  We would recommend a home with no children as he has to be approached slowly and given time to trust.  Once in a while he gets in a tussle with the other dogs but deep down, he’s a sweetheart that just needs training, time and attention.  Loves to chew and play, does like to be cuddled but definitely on his terms.  Must have suffered some abuse and/or trauma along the way but we are confident he will make someone a great dog.  And he’s so cute with his sideways smile and tongue sticking out most of the time – hard to resist!

About Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles

About Our Rescue Group...

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please see our website for upcoming Adoption Fairs. We have two standing fairs at Tailwaggers, 801 N. Fairfax Ave in West Hollywood - the 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday of every month. We are in Northridge every other month and at various sevents - check our event calendar for up-to-date info!

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $85 - $500 depending upon age. $500 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $85 would be for a mixed breed over 8 years old.
