Facts about Simon

  • Breed: Turkish Angora
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: C-16-09-18-01
  • Hair: Long
Simon and his siblings are from a cat colony. All of his siblings and mother were captured and are in forever homes. He was the only one left with other colony cats. He was finally trapped, where he stayed at an animal control facility. The staff didn't want to see him returned to the street because they were able to pet him and all of his siblings and mother are now great loving cats. He was too shy to go to the adoption floor. That is how he was rescued.
Simon is now given a chance and has come a long way. He loves to be brushed and petted but he doesn't like looking at you directly while you are petting him. I have never seen him hiss at other cats or try to scratch or hiss at me. He is very trusting.
He has a wonderful, calm, and loving personality. Simon would be great with one or more cats in a forever home. He doesn’t mind dogs either.

About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
