Margarita was very lucky to have been rescued from the Memphis Animal Shelter along with her six puppies. She is now fostering in Tennessee. Margarita was such a good mom to her babies, but recently had to say goodbye to them since they all came to New England and found forever homes! Margarita could not travel with them because she is undergoing heartworm treatment in her foster home. She will be ready to travel as soon as treatment is finished and she is back to being healthy and strong.
Margarita has a very calm and mellow temperament, but that may be because of the heartworm treatment. She is a very good girl with her foster parents, her k9 foster siblings, and with people that visit. She enjoys being petted and likes to lie at your feet. She is good on leash and housebroken.
