Meet our newest handsome addition, Blaze of Glory!! How gorgeous is this fella? He joins us from our sister rescue in Texas and is on the hunt for a forever family to call his own.
Blaze is a beautiful shepherd-retriever mix who LOVES kids. He seems to gravitate towards them and has a gentle disposition with them, including the 4 year old boy he’s fostering with! At just 6 months old he has already mastered sit and shake. Blaze loves to play and fetch sticks. He’s currently fostering with a 60 pound dog and doing great. He’s been to many events where he has interacted with dogs of all sizes and breeds. He loves to romp and play with his canine friends and would do great with a canine companion who matched his play style. He can be a little shy upon first meeting, but warms up quickly!
Blaze is is doing great with his house training and will need a family who can make a commitment to continuing that training. We’d love to see him in an active home with folks who can make a commitment to providing the training and exercise that all young dogs need. He’s not terribly fond of the crate, but does sleep in it at night in his foster mom’s bedroom.
This sweet boy is ready to be your new best friend!
