Updated pics 11/15/16, Marlene is looking great!!
This is What Your Donations Did For Marlene!!Look At Her Now! Thank You Everyone!
Now All She Needs Is a Home of Her Own!
Marlene came into the shelter and was skin and bones. She had a large tumor on her hip area. We asked for donations and puppy food so that we could help this girl. Many of you came to her rescue. She got wonderful care from Dr. Ryan and her staff at Riverside Veterinary Hospital. She gained some weight, got treated for tick disease, and blood work. The blood work looked pretty good considering her physical condition. She went into Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter foster care. Her foster mom gave her some TLC and helped her put some more meat on her bones. After that she had surgery to remove the tumor. She has been doing really well and flourishing in her foster home. Marlene does well with other dogs she has met and loves people. She is now searching for a forever home to live out her golden years. Marlene is 10+ years old and 49 pounds.
