MEET AMOS-- Great companion.
He was picked up as a stray and was being cared for by folks who were not allowed to have a dog - so Grateful Paws was asked to find him a new forever home.
He's neutered, vaccinated, blood tested and chipped now and he is simply DELIGHTFUL!
A gentle guy - laid back... We figure he is about 8-9 years old, a St. Bernard/beagle/whatever mix - and in pretty good health for an elder! He is dog friendly, well behaved when left home alone, and just wants to be your companion.
He has never been taught how to walk on a leash, so a fenced yard for potty breaks will be OK for him. A nominal adoption fee will apply $100.
Please email for an application: firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: Adoption fees are applied towards the vet bill: Exam, blood tests, vaccinations, fecal, worming, spay/neuter, and microchip. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet - who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
