Ace's Story...
Ace is a very handsome, 3 - 4 year old male dog from the El Campo pound. He appears to be a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix and weighs about 60 pounds. Ace likes dogs and people and has shown no interest in cats. He is eager to please, knows a few basic commands and is a delightful, big boy to be around. According to his foster dad, Ace considers himself a bit of a show dog because he likes to strut and prance around the yard. Ace is light heartworm positive and being treated with a proven, slow kill method. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. For more information on this friendly fella, please call Dennis at 979.758.1804 or email dennisl.ramsey@hotmail.com. Ace's adoption fee is $75.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Cat Spring Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cat Spring, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cat Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cat Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cat Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cat Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
