Brees's Story...
Everyone meet Brees! He's a super cute poodle boy that was picked up as a stray in HORRIBLE condition! He was black from mats, dirt and feces. It took nearly 4 hours to remove the mats from this sweet boy! Some of the matting was up to 3 inches thick! His fleas were one of the worst cases our rescue has ever seen! They were coming out of his eyes, ears, nose, mouth and even his genitalia! We got him cleaned up and looking good and now he's ready for his forever home to make up for the life of neglect he's lived! We believe he's around 1 year old and he only weigh 10-12lbs! Although in his pics he looks very much like a schnauzer we do believe he's pure mini poodle and it's just his hair cut that makes him look that way. He's a very laid back and friendly boy! He's not a barker and does good with other animals. He's hasn't been around children and has been started on house and kennel training! He will walk well on a leash and does good in a car! He's utd, hw tested and altered!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brees, a Grand Bay Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
